MASTER´S PROGRAMME ON HUMAN RIGHTS AND DEMOCRATISATION FOR LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN The Regional Master´s Programme on Human Rights and Democratisation for Latin America and the Caribbean is a postgraduate interdisciplinary course consisting of a number of taught core subjects and seminars as well as workshops and professional oriented activities conducted in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and a one-week intensive seminar at the European Inter-University Centre in Venice, Italy. Core subjects Philosophy and History of Human Rights Workshop Research methodology (preparation of the Master’s thesis) – Part I Phase II consists of two core subjects, three seminars and two workshops Core subjects Economic, Social and Cultural Rights Workshops Research Methodology (preparation of the Master’s thesis) – Part II Phase III consists of a wide range of seminars and master classes and three workshops. Seminars and Master Classes Human Generations and Rights: Children and the Elderly Workshops Research Methodology (preparation of the Master’s thesis) – Part III Phase IV consists of a special seminar on the European System for the Protection of Human Rights offered by the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation (EIUC) at the Venice Lido. |
