 Operational Duration of the Programme


MA in Human rights and Democratization in Eastern Partnership region is a full-time unique academic programme. It is a two-year (120 ECTS) programme and runs from September (2011) to May (2013).

The first and second semesters are spent in Armenia, at the Yerevan State University.

The third semester is conducted at the 3 partner universities.  Students will choose the module of their preference and, once allocated, will complete one of the specialized modules:

  • Political Module  (Belarusian State University);
  • Legal Module (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv);
  • Interdisciplinary Module (University of European Political and Economic Studies, Moldova).

The fourth semester is designed for MA thesis writing and internship.  It can be spent at Home University and/or Host University or elsewhere.
